1. POSITION SUMMARY Initiate, promote and develop sales opportunities for the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) products, with special emphasis on growing the business volume and achieving the sales and income targets set by the Company.
In consultation with the Sales Manager, job holder is also responsible for the business development, continuous competency improvement, establishment of healthy client relationship and cultivation of corporate identity.
2. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (Major activities or end results for which this position is held accountable) a. Implement the Sales and Marketing strategy in line with:- • Market development in terms of growth potential; • Market positioning in terms of technology and price competitiveness; and • Emerging opportunities target markets. b. Responsible for achieving the assigned sales budget and growth targets. c. Initiate, promote and develop sales opportunities for the assigned products and to achieve the desired growth in business volume reflected in the Company’s sales and income budget. d. Establish healthy client relations and provide efficient client service / support so as to solicit and maintain their confidence in the reputation of the products and services offered by the Company as well as to improve the chances of successful sales. e. Work under the directive of the Sales Manager and submit quotations or tenders after proper evaluation and analysis of clients’ needs, such as the budget, method of financing and technical configuration. f. Attend to clients’ queries, requests and complaints; follow-up and ensure prompt and correct delivery as well as collection of outstanding accounts. g. Conduct market survey so as to collect information on market demand for the purpose of planning marketing strategy for the Company’s products and services. h. Establish liaison with the team to ensure proposals are technically and commercially correct and accurate. i. Develop and promote EMC for Semiconductor, telecommunication, automotive, electronics manufacturers and other general industries. j. Assist in conducting feasibility studies and preparation of technical proposals for submission to clients. k. Conduct technical and sales presentation to targeted sectors with the aim of improving the market coverage and thus, improve the Company’s status and generate increased sales. l. Compile monthly prospects list of clients and recommend follow-up actions for submission to the Sales Manager. Collate and submit sales reports for review. m. Learn, update and consistently demonstrate the core competencies required for the job. n. Responsible to comply with the Group’s and Company’s policies and safe work procedures. o. Undertake any other tasks as and when assigned.

To make use of the existing Company’s facilities in the course of the job execution. c. To persue and achieve total quality and competitive advantage through high degree of self-discipline, commitment and involvement at all levels of the organisation as well as with its clients, suppliers and principals.
4. AUTHORITY (Describe the job holder is authorized to make) a. Acceptance of orders within profit margin guidelines. b. Signing of quotations within authority limits.
5. DIMENSIONS (Indicate the significant numerical data which is applicable to your position. Use current year forecasted figures) a. Sales and Income Target – Per Budget set by the General Manager and Sales Manager on a quarterly basis.
6. REQUIREMENT a. Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 3 years experiences, previous experience with EMC would be advantageous.
