Plan, implement and manage the environmental, health and safety system to ensure compliance with statutory and company’s regulations and procedures. Responsible for investigate and reporting any safety and loss prevention plans, individual fire, security procedures and industrial accident cases. Evaluate and analyze any hazardous conditions and recommends remedial and preventive actions. Plans and promotes safety awareness program amongst all personnel. Conduct safety training in respective projects / plant. Conduct periodic safety meetings , audits and site inspections to ensure compliance of SHE requirements. Compile accurate safety statistics report and make recommendations to the management for continuous improvements. Inspect and ensure sufficient safety equipment are provided for the project / production workers. Outlining safe operational measures by identifying all the relevant hazards. Ad hoc admin tasks assign by management. Requirements:
Certificate in Safety and Health from NIOSH or related qualification. At least two (2) years working experience, preferably in a construction / manufacturing environment. Registered as a certified Occupational Safety & Health Officer with DOSH. ( Green Book) is required. Computer literate and able to communicate in English. Good attitude, positive minded, self-starter, self-motivated person, independent and good team worker. Those currently pursuing Safety and Health courses are encouraged to apply.
