Description
JOB DESCRIPTIONS-Assist Doctor in dental cleaning including holding suction tubes and water spray to keep patients’ mouths clear and dry during procedures.
-Handing instruments and other materials to dentist during procedures.
-Give information to patients on proper cleaning and dental maintenance techniques, procedures and conditions.
-Prepare, disinfect and sterilize instruments and equipment for each patient depending on procedures being performed (autoclaved after treatment).
-Taking and process x-rays of patients’ teeth, gather medication and perform any additional tasks to assist Dentist to meet with patients quickly and provide the best care possible.
-Obtaining patients’ dental records.
-Use appointment schedule and sign-in register to call patients and prepare them to be seen by the Dentist.
-Follow up outstanding balance from patient.
-Scheduling and confirm appointments, maintaining records, receive patients, keep treatment records, send bills, receive payments.
-Order dental supplies and materials.
-Medication consultation and advising patients on dental care.
-Making patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment.
-Questioning patients about their medical history and recording the information for dentist’s reference
-Teach patients how to practice good oral hygiene.
